Alex and I completely understand this, having spent a combined 30 years in the public accounting world.

After my brief time there, I realized there was a huge opportunity to support small to mid-sized organizations, especially non-profits. Our very first client was a non-profits, and helping them push their mission forward has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my career.

Sure, public accounting firms are great for big corporations, but what about the non-profits that are striving to make a difference in their communities? They deserve the same high-quality service and expertise, but they also want that personal touch, like having a dedicated in-house team.

That’s when I decided to leave public accounting—not because I didn’t enjoy it, but because I wanted to change the game. I wanted to be more than just a financial number cruncher; I wanted to be a true partner, helping non-profits understand how their finances impact their mission and overall effectiveness.

As the co-founder of Quantify for over a decade, Dave has had the amazing opportunity to help countless non-profits leaders sleep a little easier at night, knowing they have accurate financial information to support their missions. Before launching Quantify, he worked at one of Pennsylvania’s biggest regional public accounting firms, and that’s where he realized his heart really lies in helping organizations that are making a difference in their communities.

With over ten years of experience working with non-profits, Dave is truly passionate about helping them increase their impact. He believes that when non-profits are on solid financial ground, they can serve their communities even better and create real, lasting change.

Living a purposeful and balanced life is important to him, both personally and professionally. His faith in Jesus Christ motivates him to serve others, and he aims to be a trusted partner on each organization’s journey to success.

When he’s not busy with work, Dave loves being a husband and dad, and he takes pride in whipping up the best homemade pizza you’ve ever tasted. He’s also a big fan of the outdoors and loves finding time to enjoy God’s beautiful creation.

ALEX STEINBERG, CPA

Alex is a seasoned pro in the accounting world. Before co-founding Quantify with Dave, he served as a tax manager for some of the top public accounting firms across the United States. With 17 years of public accounting experience under his belt, Alex brings that same level of expertise and excellence to Quantify’s clients, especially non-profits.

What really sets Alex apart is his commitment to responsiveness and clear communication. He has a knack for understanding what every non-profits leader needs, and he loves tailoring solutions that fit each unique organization he works with. Serving non-profits is especially fulfilling for him because he believes in the vital work they do for their communities.

When he’s not busy crunching numbers, Alex enjoys spending quality time with his wife and kids, playing pick-up basketball, and discovering the best local food spots… “One bite…everyone knows the rules.”

CHRISTINE MILLER, CPA

Accounting Manager

Christine joined Quantify in 2020 and brings 6 years of public accounting experience to our present and future clients. She specializes in client development and non-profits accounting for the Quantify team. Her attention to detail and commitment to providing clients with accurate financials make Christine an invaluable member of our team.
