Good Things Don’t Come Easy
There are things in life that we need to hear over and over again. Sure, many things are easily remembered after just one time but some things we need a constant reminder. But something that’s come up a lot lately, in meetings and in my own private space, is that “the best things don’t come easy and need to be fought for”. Maybe this sounds basic, but let’s dig a little deeper.
Personal Life
I am currently in the process of remodeling my kitchen. I have had the help of some amazing friends and family but no outside contractors are being used. While it has been a ton of work so far, I have tried my best to keep focused on the end goal. Good things don’t come easy.
Social Life
As I am sure you are aware by now I am an avid outdoorsman. Chasing big game animals is no easy task. However, there is so much reward when you put in countless hours of hard work and it pays off. Again, good things don’t come easy.
Work Life
The same idea can be applied to business. I took a huge salary cut, worked countless hours and continue to put my heart and soul into my business. God has blessed me with success but it has not come easy. However, keeping the mantra “the best things don’t come easy and need to be fought for” in mind has helped me to keep pushing forward, even in the toughest of times.
If you are pursuing something in your home, personal, or professional life that seems too much to overcome, remember, good things don’t come easy. Just because something will be hard, or is hard, doesn’t mean it should be thrown out. Anyone successful, whether that be someone skilled at building relationships or businesses, will tell you that they have messed up numerous times — but they’ll also tell you that the best things are worth fighting the hardest for.
If you have something that you are passionate about and truly believe in, keep fighting for it.
